Jacobsen Visits with Alumni, Parents in 3 Countries

Joyce Jacobsen, the Andrews Professor of Economics, tutor in the College of Social Studies, visited with Wesleyan alumni and parents in three countries. In February, she met with guests in Hong Kong, China and presented a talk on "Economist Circumnavigates the Globe: Thoughts on the World Economy."

In March, she met with guests in Hong Kong, China and presented a talk on “Economist Circumnavigates the Globe: Thoughts on the World Economy.” The group met for dinner afterwards.

Also in March, Jacobsen met with alumni and parents in Singapore. In April, she will speak to alumni and parents in Cape Town, South Africa. Jacobsen was the recipient of the Binswanger Prize for Excellence in Teaching in 2007.
