Temple ’88 Speaks to Students on Book Publishing, Publishing Careers
Johnny Temple '88, publisher and editor-in-chief of Akashic Books, spoke to students on publishing as a business, jobs in publishing, and new forms of publishing Feb. 16 in the Shapiro Creative Writing Center.

Temple, pictured here signing books for students, won the American Association of Publishers’ 2005 Miriam Bass Award for Creativity in Independent Publishing. He plays bass guitar in the band Girls Against Boys, which has toured extensively and released numerous albums.
