Celtic Melody Performs Irish Jigs, Polkas in Honor of St. Patrick’s Day
Celtic Melody, an Irish traditional music band, performed for Wesleyan faculty, staff and students March 13 inside the Usdan University Center in honor of St. Patrick's Day.
Group members are, from left, Janet Morgan, Liz Raymond, Eileen Burke Grabowski, Tom Morgan and Brett Morgan. Tom Morgan is the Foss Professor of Physics and academic secretary, and Brent Morgan is an instructional media specialist at Information Technology Services.
Tom Morgan is the group's lead singer. Celtic Melody performed Irish polkas, jigs, hornpipes and reels during the lunchtime concert.
Donning St. Patrick's attire, Suzanne O'Connell, associate professor and chair of the Earth and Environmental Sciences Department, director of the Service Learning Center, enjoys the hour-long performance.
